Email Accounts disappeared

I have been using Thunderbird with 5 Email Addresses for many years. A few days ago all email accounts plus their messages disappeared. I was able to reinstate 2 Email accounts but Thunderbird refused to reinstate a third. It offers me a new email address but that is not what I need. 2 of the Email accounts that disappeared are not very important but one is and I need it. I would hate to abandon Thunderbird
