Predicament. Need Html of all my emails....how to do this?

Doesn't necessarily need to be html but I need all of my emails printed out or be able to save them electronically.

A few weeks ago my POS smart phone froze up on me while deleting an email. I tried twice more and somehow during the freeze It selected all of the emails on the hub and deleted everything. Realizing what happened I still can't connect my thunderbird to the POP servers or else all my emails will be deleted in the only place they exist still.

So how does a poor FML guy like me do this??? tanks

I suggest you start by backing up your profile and then start Thunderbird with a -offline command line argument to start it on offline mode (doesn't make any network calls). That will give you time to export or print mail, and/or disable the settings to check for new mail. Don't overlook moving messages/folders to "Local Folders" to save them if you're worried that connecting to a POP server will delete them.

If your smartphone used a IMAP account you could also try creating a new profile, add JUST a IMAP account, and configure "when I delete a message " to "just mark it as deleted" in the server settings. That lets you see deleted messages in the folder listing (they will have a line drawn through them) and undelete them by deleting them again. However, I strongly suggest you backup your existing profile first.

Hi tanstaafl, I noticed that the ImportExportTools add-on is in Italian, is there an English version? -or- can I simply modify the app to make it so? Thanks

I'm not quite sure how you got the Italian version. https://freeshell.de/~kaosmos/mboximport-en.html is in English so I suspect its download link is also for a English version, though the link to the Mozilla add-ons web site is for a Italian version of that web site. Replacing the 'it' with 'en-us' takes you to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunde ... porttools/ which is the English version.
