Sometimes on rare occasions when I'm trying to use the <left shift> key and type a character like ",},|, etc, I accidentally hit <CONTROL>-<ENTER>.
Thunderbird used to prompt me "are you sure you want to send the e-mail now?", but lately it just starts sending, and hitting cancel doesn't stop the e-mail or take me back to editing.
Is there any way to either turn off <CONTROL>-<ENTER> or restore the confirmation prompt?
Disable <CONTROL>-<ENTER> or restore prompt

Is the mail.warn_on_send_accel_key preference set to true?

No, it is false, I changed it and it is giving me the warning, thank you.
I wonder how it got changed?
I just assumed that the feature was removed at one of the updates.

You likely checked the "Do not show me this dialog box again" option by mistake in the confirmation prompt.

Thank you for telling me what option to look for, it is fixed, now hopefully I won't send as many embarrassing replies with errors or incomplete e-mails.
