Mail Moved to JUNK an then INBOX

think im seeing a BUG
1, Email goes to JUNK by Mistake
2,) Click or Drag that email into the INBOX folder
3) its totally gone
happens both with my gmail account an my personal account. Thunderbird52.2 ESR , both email accounts are IMAP

Moving to Thunderbird Support.

Right click on the Inbox folder name in the left hand pane and select "Properties" from the context menu, then click on the "Repair Folder" button.

I have this same problem...Mail goes to junk folder its not junk so I unflag it as junk then it disappears..i do not know where it goes.
It does not go back to the inbox thats for sure. I'm puzzled. ](*,)

How is the account set up in Thunderbird, as POP or IMAP? Find out using menu path Tools->Account Settings->Server Settings->Server Type at the top right of the dialogue.

sad, if it dont get fixed i may have to switch to another email client :( , i didnt have this issue in 45
