Hi regularly can't send email with Thunderbird

do you think this is
a_ issue with Thunderbird
b_my pc not being up to standard to support Thunderbird
c_ issue elsewhere

If I may offer a suggestion...

You might want to edit/blank out all your personal info from that screen shot.
Don't want any un-necessary spam etc., now, do we?

If you have all the correct settings entered in TB, a common cause of timeouts is the presence of a security or antivirus program set to scan email. Try running in Windows safe mode (Shift+Restart). If there are no more timeouts, disable AV email scanning if it was previously on.
