All subfolders of IMAP and POP accounts disappeared

All subfolders of IMAP and POP accounts disappeared. I was able to restore IMAP but not POP accounts. All POP accounts are Yahoo mail. Thunderbird 52.2.0 (32-bit).

I am far away from advanced user but tried to go around Thunderbird Profile.
I found from Profile/Mail folder following folders: pop.mail.yahoo.com, pop.mail.yahoo-1.com…. pop.mail.yahoo-5.com and tried to change them on server settings but didn’t help.

Any advice, please?

You don't say how you restored the IMAP accoess but see if this is relevant to your problem -- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Recovering_a_ ... isappeared

For IMAP I changed server settings back and worth and all subfolders came back.

Thank you for instructions but unfortunately they didn't help. But as I mentioned I am not so advanced user so not sure if I did all correctly.
