TB 52 Hang Mac OS, only runs if Mac is Booted Safe Mode

Thunderbird 52 hangs on my Mac, and will not open in TB safe mode. It launches, the menu bar appears, then stops responding. In case it was a slow folder synch, I've left it overnight. They only way that I can get TB to open is to reboot the Mac in safemode. I've reinstalled, and no joy.

Delete the current program. Reinstall from http://getthunderbird.com/

I figured out this issue. Thunderbird only loads when the graphics mode is set to Integrated Only.
