Hello!
I see several accounts in Accounts Options, but they don't show up at the left list! (global inbox)
Any idea?
thanks!

Accounts using the Global Inbox are listed in the left hand folder pane. They use the folders of the Local Folders structure. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Global_Inbox

How does that solve the issue of my question?

It tells you that Thunderbird is acting as it is intended to act and you are not understanding the results of using the Global Inbox option.

Re: Accounts not showing!
Global Inbox the same as Unified?
I have three accounts. Using Unified, the account names are down the Folder Pane below Trash, and I have to scroll down, or collapse the Inbox for the first account name to appear.
I prefer All folders.

No, Global Inbox and Unified Folders are two different things, two different ways of managing accounts.

Must be a Windows thing. I don't see Global anywhere in my Linux version.DanRaisch wrote:No, Global Inbox and Unified Folders are two different things, two different ways of managing accounts.
Oh well, I tried to be helpful.

Re: Accounts not showing!
@WaltS48 - It happens during the account setup and there are a number of supporting Global settings for Linux installs.
It doesn't appear in preferences or account settings once there's been an account setup with a specific account folder in the panel as an option that I could find.
It does occur when setting up Thunderbird for the first time but doesn't show for updates from places like a repository as it maintains the same settings.
SeaMonkey shows the same option during setup and asks to collect settings from other packages like Thunderbird for the mail.
This for Mint and Ubuntu which are pretty much the same.

Doesn't matter what you say, it's wrong for a toaster to walk around the house and talk to you
