IMAP fetch links to bookmarks

The Communications Team at my organisation publish a newsletter as an email.

At the top of the email is an index of links in the format:

imap://...@outlook.office365.com:993/fetch%3EUID%3E/Filing%20Cabinet/Newsletters%3E254#btec

Where #btec is an internal bookmark.

If I open the email in Outlook (spit!), then I can click the link and it skips down to the bookmark, however this doesn't work in Thunderbird (52.2.1 on Windows 8.1). Is there any way I can make it so that it works? An add-on perhaps?
