An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Resources temporarily unavailable - Please try again later. Please check the message and try again.
What is this again? New annoyance in TB?
Any solution??
thanks!

I can duplicate the problem using a Yahoo IMAP account with Thunderbird 52.2.1. It sounds like a temporary problem on the server. I tried sending a message via yahoo webmail. It took ten minutes until I got it, it normally takes ten seconds. That seems consistent with the Thunderbird error message.

Same happened to me.
Problem caused by Thunderbird 'failure' to auto load password for SMTP.
I had to go to the Accounts page and click on "Create a New Account" and redo info for my account adding in the password again.
When I again tried to send the e-mail the security box, to logon onto the server, popped-up asking for my password ...
I filled-in the password and checked 'remember password'.
It then sent the e-mail.
I still get the security box every time I boot-up Thunderbird and have to fill it out for that session and tell it to "remember password", which it does for that whole session.

That's not the way Thunderbird works for most folks, even those accessing a Yahoo account. It sounds as though you're running up against something unique to Yahoo and their recent changes in handling passwords, etc.

My impression was that ymail was a yahoo account using the ymail domain in the email address. Ditto for rocketmail.

At&t in-bound and out-bound (with Frontier being the account holder).
