Does anyone know of a way to stop T-bird from nagging to update to the latest version? Until T-bird stops requiring me to ok each and every image in each and every message I send, I want to stick with the earlier version (45.8) My professional signature has an image that I am required to use, and the newer versions of T-bird (52.xx) ALWAYS insist on my approving it before I can send.

TIA!
Where are we going? And what's with this hand basket?

Have you set the options under Tools->Options->Advanced->Update?

Yes, I have, to "Never", but it still pops up at least once each email session (not every message opened, thankfully).

See this article and disable/uninstall the Mozilla Maintenance Service -- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/wh ... ce-service
