Hi,
To stop spam from coming in one can check a message as 'undesired' and the next time the same message comes in it should be blocked/sent to the spambox.
Things seem to have changed however. Following this procedure doesn't stop the same spam coming in all the time and I have to remove it manually.
Is this still the way to go or are there other more effective options?
Kindest regards, Leo

Re: Spam
Do you have the Junk Mail Controls activated in Thunderbird?
Note that identifying one particular message as Junk (undesired) does not immediately change Thunderbird's interpretation of such a message. It requires some training time, identifying messages as Junk and other messages as Not Junk before the automatic system will properly identify such messages. And it can still miss some as the senders vary the text and other contents of Spam messages. If you have one or more sources that are consistently not picked up by the Junk Mail Controls you can create Message Filters to deal with those problems.
