Thunderbird doesn't have any sort of command to merge messages. There is an add-on that lets you edit the raw source of a message at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunde ... ools-lite/ . You could use that to copy and paste text from multiple messages into one text message. Anything else would depend upon how much you know about how messages are formatted.
Thunderbird does have the concept of conversations (multiple messages in the same thread) but that doesn't effect how the messages are stored.

Hum, I may have expressed myself incorrectly, for example on my blackberry phone. In the display of the emails that have come through. There is an option to display them as Single or Individual messages, or display them in Conversation style.tanstaafl wrote:Thunderbird doesn't have any sort of command to merge messages. If the messages are replies to a common message view -> sort by -> threaded will group them as a conversation. You don't need the TB conversation add-on at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunde ... ew/?src=ss to do that, but you might find it useful if many of your messages are part of conversations.
