Drafts saving to incorrect email account (Mac)

I have several email accounts on Thunderbird, despite having the correct settings on where draft emails are saved when I open a draft and save it it moves it to the draft folder of the other email account. Why is this. I have check all settings and the default. Any help? Thanks

To what settings are you referring? Do you mean those under Tools->Account Settings->Copies & Folders->Drafts and Templates?
What version of Thunderbird?
POP or IMAP type account?

Its an Imap account. Yes the settings under Tools are correctly set. Basically if I draft on my Imac it saves to the correct draft folder. If I then re-open the draft on my Macbook it saves it to the draft of another account. I reset the default email account on both to the same account to try and see if it was due to the default account or default server being the issue but it does not appear to have helped.
