Filter using address book no longer working

I have (only) two filters that check to verify an incoming address is in a specific address book (I have four address books) and if not another filter sends them to trash. These filters have both quit working.

I recently changed servers this mail comes in on. All thirty addresses had to be recreated. It took some effort but all addresses are now working. The two addresses at issue are exactly the same as they were on the old server and a filter that sends them to trash is still working but the two that check incoming address against address books have quit working.

How is the account set up in Thunderbird, as POP or IMAP? Find out using menu path Tools->Account Settings->Server Settings->Server Type at the top right of the dialogue. Was it the same before you changed servers?
How are those two filters defined?
