Profile folder too big? TB crashes many times a day.

Hello Everyone,

my friend has a problem with TB.
It crashes many times a day for no apparent reason.
Crashes occur during different actions so its hard to say what causes them.

However profile folder is 19,5 GB in size! Can this be the reason that TB has problems?

Moving to Thunderbird Support.

Does the same thing occur if you launch the application in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode

I will ask my friend to run TB in safe mode and we will check if problems still presists.

Safe mode won't help. A patch is in the works.
