Green bar in message pane?

Post by JayUSA »

Hello Everyone,

What is the green bar at the bottom of the message pane?

Image

In this example, the email thread seem to be all plain text, but the green bar is stuck at a certain percent. Thanks,

Jay

How is the account set up in Thunderbird, as POP or IMAP? Find out using menu path Tools->Account Settings->Server Settings->Server Type at the top right of the dialogue.

Hi Dan,

Sorry for the delayed response. It's set up as IMAP. Thanks,

OK, and am I correct in understanding that the screen shot indicates that you have started to forward a message you received into that account? If so, what is the selected target for storing Draft messages as defined under Tools->Account Settings->Copies & Folders?

Hi Dan,

No, the message in the screenshot is not being forwarded. I've simply opened it to read it. Nothing else that I can think of. Thanks,

OK, then Thunderbird may be downloading data to populate local copies of the messages from the server to make them available when no Internet connection is available. See if the steps outlined in this article are helpful -- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Minimize_the_ ... _a_profile
