With my old email client (Eudora) I could save a group of messages, with headers, as a single file.
This was very useful in producing a file that I could access for that group of messages.
This group may have been a months worth of messages or it could have been all the messages, from a group, on a particular type of equipment.
How do I get this functionality in Thunderbird without opening a file and saving each message, individually, to that file.
With Eudora it was a high-lite and save function, very effortless.
If this is not possible, possibly it would make a good addition.
Thanks
Glenn

Use the ImportExportTools add-on. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Importing_folders for where to get and how to install that add-on. Then ignore the remainder of the article and use one of the menu items in tools -> importexporttools
