beautify print of msgs (grey background + box frames)?

When I print messages (into pdf) from within Thunderbird then the header fields do not differ much from the following (plain text) text body.

I would appreciate if I could customize printout of messages to a much nicer layout.

The background of the header fields (FROM: TO: subject: date:) could be e.g. light grey instead of white.
The header fields could be separated by a horizontal line from the text body or surroundedby a box line.

Is this somehow possible in Thunderbird (at least with Addon)?
