hi running the very latest version of TB and Win 10 pro

I keep getting a new email notification each time I receive a new message which is great, how ever, it also sends me an alert when a 'trash' message comes in.

Is it possible to configure something so that I only receive alerts for messages, and not trash?

and I do not receive alerts for 'junk' which I would like if possible

kindest thanks, cheers
peter

Maybe this extension is what you want -- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunde ... src=search

g'day Dan

thank you for the link, but I could not install it after downloading it
It's an xpi file, and usually when I double click on that it asks if you want to install it.
In this when I double click it, it opens up a new message window, and the xpi file is an attachment that does nothing

maybe there's another add on, thanks for the idea, and I will explore if there is something else available

BTW, I also downloaded an earlier version of the mailbox alert, and that didnt work for me either
cheers

Hi Peter,
Exactly how are you trying to install it in Thunderbird?
You say that you've got the .xpi file.....O.K.
Have you tried opening Thunderbird's Addons page & dragging & dropping the file into it?

Double clicking it will not install it.
