Tbird was working perfectly until I installed a new AV program (Bitdefender) and then it stopped receiving but it is able to send. I have removed Bitdefender but still no receive. I did a second update using MOZBAK to be sure all my profile info is correct but still no receiving?
Every other app on the new PC works perfect and I installed another email client (eM client) just to check, and it works perfect. I far prefer Tbird, can anyone give me some HELP???
The system is setup as POP and SMTP

When you removed BitDefender did you use the standard Windows Add/Remove programs function or did you download and use the uninstaller tool from the BitDefender site? If the former it's possible that there are still bits of BitDefender (no pun intended) running in the background.

I used the BD uninstaller and OBW, the Tbird version is 52.6 Thank you for your response!!

What error message, if any, are you receiving when trying to get mail?

Just so I'm clear here, has the PC been restarted since the removal of the BitDefender software?
