Hi,
New user here... I'm trying to setup thunderbird with a socks5 proxy, the proxy requires username/password authentication.
However there is no user/pswd field under proxy settings in TB.
I went ahead anyway with server address and port, hoping for a user/pass window prompt, but TB failed to connect: "Could not connect to mail server imap.gmail.com; the connection was refused."
Does thunderbird just doesn't support socks5 proxy with user/pswd authentication, or am I missing a setting somewhere? I googled lots but no joy.
For firefox I'm using foxyproxy...
