Something has happened to my email accounts in that some of them have been hi-jacked by GMAIL.
All the TB major default folders (sent, drafts, spam, trash, etc) which used to be under the main email heading are now in a gmail folder. I was thinking it had to do with my linking accounts to gmail via IMAP, so I went back to POP, but the folder sequence did not change.
How do I get my folders back to the default folders?
Thank you for any solutions

Re: GMAIL folder in email accounts
HOW did you go "back to POP"? Did you create a second Gmail account in Thunderbird using IMAP access, or did you change server settings in Thunderbird to point to Google's POP server? If the latter, the folders/file created during the user of the IMAP account type are still present in the profile. You would have been better to have added a new account, with the same email address but with the POP server settings, and then remove the IMAP account from Thunderbird, or set it to not check for new messages.
