Can I stop a Download/Synch Now action? SOLVED

I chose Download/Synch Now for offline use. BUT it's been going and going for over 24 hours now. I don't know what's wrong. If I quit TB, it just starts up again when I open TB.

Any ideas?

Did you select file -> offline -> "work online" afterwards?

Oh gosh. I don't remember. Ugh. I'm wondering whether or not it just is taking a long time because I've never done it and there are like 200,000 messages in the entire account?

Downloading 200K messages can take a long time. It depends upon your mail server and how fast a connection you have to the server. However, I would not expect it to take over 24 hours unless you are running into a daily limit (such as a bandwidth limit or a limit on the total number of messages downloaded) imposed by your email provider.

Thanks. I'm now watching more closely, since this started, and it's now on 2014. So hopefully it'll be done tonight. Thanks for holding my hand through this... will post an update...
