Quick question – suspect the problem is with my ISP (spectrum/TWC)… Informed ISP (but initial reps are lacking in experience) and they said to contact Thunderbird.
Have five subaccounts – do not receive emails for one but others receive okay.
ISP rep and I verified the server settings for the subaccount – they were correct.
Received emails yesterday with no problem.
As I said, suspect/expect the problem is with the ISP – but I just wanted to check to see if others were having the same problem.
Using Thunderbird 52.7
Thank you
Don't receive emails for one subaccount but do for others

How is the problem account set up in Thunderbird, as POP or IMAP? Find out using menu path Tools->Account Settings->Server Settings->Server Type at the top right of the dialogue.
By the way, Thunderbird doesn't recognize master accounts vs sub-accounts vs child accounts, etc. To Thunderbird, any combination of server name and user name/email address is a separate account.

Re: Don't receive emails for one subaccount but do for other
It was an ISP problem.
All emails (from yesterday and today) appeared in my account/subaccount (whatever you call it).
By the way, the account in question was a POP but my accounts (that worked) are a mixture of POP & IMAP.
