Hi everybody,
I sure would like to get ahead of this. There are several characters I use in an English eMail, but certain one would be better if I could also include the accents used in certain French words. For example, the word "Quebec" would be more pleasing to a French reader if the letter "e" also had the appropriate accent.
How do I even begin to accomplish this?
Many regards,
Paul

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/International_characters . I suggest you use the US-International keyboard layout based solution. I've used that to type both English and German text using my existing hardware and a US-EN version of Thunderbird.
