Adding more people to an e-mail

Hi,

So until recently, I've never had a string of people in an e-mail thread before & now when someone sends me an e-mail with like 4-5 people in it, I can't add another person to the thread

I've tried to tab from the bottom e-mail address & TB won't create a new row/field.

I see no + sign or anything so I can add more people.

Twice now I've had to remove someone or leave someone out of the loop which isn't good

It's not tab to add another line but "Enter".

Oh, I'll try that next time. It used to be tab, or maybe that was in OL.

I haven't had that area full like that almost NEVER & I've been online since '98 LOL

Count yourself lucky if you haven't seen that area full. I frequently have 20 to 30 names in the address entry box on both incoming and outgoing messages.

In Thunderbird it has always been Enter to go to the next line of that field.

You can also increase the size of the list of addressees to see all those people... and maybe add some more without pressing on ENTER.

You can enlarge the upper portion of a new message (the part that lists all the addresses) by grabbing the fine line just below message formatting options. In other words, the line just below "Paragraph – Font – font and formatting choices"
