New Installton, Junk Files not working

I have new computer a Dell 8930 running FF and TB, I installed TB and all works great except when I mark a message as junk with the orange fireball it does not go to Junk it just stays in my inbox. I have tried training the junk controls and thought it was ready, but it will not work. Any suggestions?

Confirm that you have set the Junk Mail Controls in both locations in Thunderbird, including defining a target for where TB will move Junk messages once they have been defined -- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Junk_Mail_Controls
