Opening Thunderbird

Since the last update, everytime I launch Thunderbird I see a quick flash of the window that shows email/accounts/advanced features and then on to inbox window.
Certainly nothing serious - just wondering why this happens?

Its a old cosmetic bug that the developers have explicitly stated they don't want to fix. My experience is that how noticeable it is depends upon what version you're running, what graphics card you have, and whether you have a start page enabled. Its briefly displaying whats called the account central page.

Thanks for that - I guess we just have to live with it - slightly annoying!!

for info: version is 60.3.0
Graphics Card is Radeon HD6670
