I sync TB contacts with a copy held on a server running OwnCloud.

Everything was working well until a short while back after a TB update.
Suddenly, whenever I alter a contact in TB and the change is sync'd on the server, I start getting messages in TB saying that the contact has been updated on both disc and server - which do I want to keep.

This happens continually even though the server has been updated by TB and not manually, and it only stops if I export the contact, delete it from TB, sync with the server to delete the account there, and then re-import the account to TB and sync again.

It seems that after updating a changed account during sync, TB then forgets it updated the account and thinks there has been a change on the server since last sync.

Hope this all makes sense - and can anyone suggest how I overcome this.

TIA

How, specifically, are you synching the contacts (address book files?) to that server? What software or functionality?

I use 'Cardbook' instead of the TB Addressbook as it had the Carddav capability without the need for SoGo.
In CardBook I just set up a remote address book and enter the server details.

Are you using version 33.2 of that extension?
Have you reported the issues on the support page for the extension? https://gitlab.com/CardBook/CardBook/issues

I am using V 33.2
I will report the issue - thanks for the link
If it turns out it's not a Cardbook issue I'll come back.

Thanks again.
