In Thunderbird 60.4 it appears that the option to compose a message and "Send-Later" still adds my signature but an edit of that message now removes that signature before sending now or "Send Later".
Would anyone know when that started and how to fix it? Or is this just me?

Re: TB 60.4 signature problem
How are you editing the queued message ?
If I move a queued message to drafts and edit it it doesn't lose the signature that it automatically imported from the signature file. I can't move or drag and drop that message back to the outbox though. I can use file -> send later on the edited draft. I then use file -> send unsent messages and it sends the message okay. It has the expected signature. I'm also using TB 60.4 with Windows 10.

Using the "Send Later" command puts the message in the Outbox. As it should and as it always has. Then, as I have always done, I use Cntl-E and now when the message opens the signature and the 'signature separator' are gone. This also happens when I use the menu entry.
This did not happen before now.

Works fine for me when I use Control-E. I suggest you try using safe mode (help -> restart with add-ons disabled) to see if its due to an add-on.

Re: TB 60.4 signature problem - Resolved
Thanks. I usually have more time to think and 'follow the steps' but today has been more than busy.tanstaafl wrote:Works fine for me when I use Control-E. I suggest you try using safe mode (help -> restart with add-ons disabled) to see if its due to an add-on.
Thanks again.
The magic Gremlins appear to be satisfied!
Starting with extensions disabled, I have but three, and enabling them at a time appears to have stopped this.
Sorry for the noise.
