Hi all,
i use TB 60.4.0 on MacOS 10.14 and randmly during the day, when i click on a folder or a message Thundebird show the busy rolling icon and hangs.
The only way to exit is to Force Quit.
I tried to compact folders without success.
Suggestions? Does anyone else have this problem?
Thx in advance

Re: Randomly busy, have to Force Quit
I've occasionally seen that under Windows 7 and 10. The problem has existed for over 5 years. Its annoying.
I have 9 IMAP accounts (and no POP accounts). If it wasn't so intermittent I'd have enabled IMAP logging and tried to capture a record of what was going on. I don't think it has anything to do with deleted messages, or whether offline folders or global search is enabled. Its persisted despite creating a new profile from scratch. I have never seen it while Thunderbird is configured to work offline, but I don't do that often.

lalex,
Do you have enigmail installed?
Or use the Lightning calendar add-on?
