Thunderbird would be extra brilliant if I could get this sorting thing figured out...may you please help me?
1. sort by date
2. sort by from
3. grouped sort from
I really love the "Grouped by Sort" option but would love to display that as a default option after email is sorted by descending date. All new email would be displayed at the top, but sorted into from groups. That makes sense right? Hahaha.
In other words... Sort by Date Descending first than Sort by From Grouped Sort.
Thanks in advance for your help. I played around with a coupe of addons but couldn't quite get it. Maybe you know of something else.

There isn't a preference to set the secondary sort order.
