I have been unable to install the British English Dictionary (Marco Pinto) add-on in Thunderbird. I am using Thunderbird 60.5.3 (32 bit) on Windows 10 and I'm trying to install version 2.70 of the add-on.
If I install from within Thunderbird, I get the error "The add-on from addons.thunderbird.net could not be installed because it does not match the add-on expected". I have tried downloading the xpi file and installing manually, but this gets the error "This add-on could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt".
Is this version of the addon known to be corrupt, or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: British English Dictionary
I have version 2.69 installed and a "Check for Updates" in the Add-ons Manager doesn't find one.
The extension's developer is aware of the problems.

Thanks for this reply. It seems I will have to be patient until the developer deals with the problem.
Is it possible to install version 2.69? I have tried to find it online without success, so any help in finding it would be appreciated.

Hi,
You will find all the old/er versions (usually at the bottom of the main D/L page),

For TB 60.5.3, you have to install the webExt version: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... tionary-2/

Re: British English Dictionary
The developer has now reloaded v 2.70 as v 2.70.1 following a corruption last night. I have successfully installed it now.
Seems I was unlucky with my timing, hitting a 24 hour problem.
Thanks to all who responded.
