I wouldn't expect Thunderbird 1.5 to be helpful.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/quest ... er-1222208 suggests that import worked using Thunderbird 17. Another option might be to first convert Eudora to Outlook, and from Outlook to Thunderbird - https://www.zooksoftware.com/blog/how-t ... -13-10-07/ https://www.stellarinfo.com/support/kb/ ... to-outlook (there may be other options - I'm not an outlook person)

You're going to a lot of work to try to import mail from Eudora. I'm not certain you understood Dan's suggestion to add the same IMAP account in both Eudora and Thunderbird, perhaps because you're not used to IMAP accounts (which are very different from POP accounts because they also support both uploading and downloading messages). That would let you migrate your mail without importing it. Its not just easier, its better, because it avoids the potential problems in converting between the different file storage formats. It would let you use the IMAP mail server as a intermediary to move messages the same way you can use a flash drive to move files from one PC to another.

See "Using IMAP remote folders as an intermediary" in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Importing_and ... ail_server for more information.

Dear friends, I don't know how I can thank you for your kind availability. But my barrier language and the inexperience does not allow me to do what you advise. Maybe it is easier and faster for you convert my Eudora .mbx than to write so many writings. They are very useful but not for me. I'm sorry.

But for mea very important thing is to know the layout of Thunderbird after importing from Eudora. Infact if I continue to see this layout "Local Folder" lower left, I don't like to import anymore.

I need to see those Eudora emails in "Inbox" and "Outbox".

You can move the folders under "Eudora Import" to other locations by dragging and dropping them with the mouse. However, if the folder already exists (at the destination) you need to either move it to a different location in the folder hierarchy, or move just the folders contents (instead of the entire folder). You can use Control-A or edit -> select -> all to select all of the messages in a folder. You can then either drag and drop them to a different folder, or use Message -> "Move To" to move the messages to a different folder.

Why are"Sent" and "Outbox" folders in "Local folders" very far from "Inbox"? I'd like to have them next to each other, on the upper part of Thunderbird. I have many accounts and "Sent" and "Outbox" folders and their subfolders are very very far, I almost find it difficult to see them. It is really strange. In Eudora they are ll near: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xf0p812iak345 ... d.JPG?dl=0
