New Thunderbird install is moving my emails to other folders

Got my first Inbox email on a new install of Thunderbird tonight. It was a bill from my cell phone provider. Shortly after it disappeared. I was about ready to ditch the program and then I noticed the email automatically moved to a folder called Bills, which I had created. I did not set anything up to allow it to do transfer emails, yet it took it upon itself to do it anyway.

How do I get it to stop doing this?

Normally messages are automatically moved from the inbox to a non-junk folder only if you created a message filter to do that. However its possible your email provider (not Thunderbird) did that. Gmail for example likes to do that based on certain predefined categories. Its possible to stop that by changing your settings in webmail (with a browser). Who is your email provider?

Ok, thanks! My provider has no such option. Anyway, I deleted the account and started a new POP3 account instead of IMAP. But now I don't have any Sent or Draft folder and when I create them manually, the icons are generic. How do I create these folders with the proper icons?

Never mind, the proper icons showed up when I restarted.
