Hello, Ver 68 is blocking a file (image, ie: signature) from loading into the message I am writing and wanting to send.
How can I unblock this permanently ? Thanks ![]() How are you adding that file?
Does the same thing occur if you launch the application in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode I have several different signatures (which I designed myself) which I can add at the end of an email. Strangely enough of the ca. 5 I have, only one gives rise to this error message!
I haven't tested it in Safe Mode yet. Will do when I'm back at my computer. If I launch in Safe Mode I don't have the option of choosing a signature (option through Signature Switch, which is an updated Legacy extension) ... so I obviously don't get the same message about this being blocked.
Maybe I need to remove Signature Switch and re-install it ? ![]() You could try that or you could disable the extension and try adding that signature directly to Thunderbird to see if the issue is unique to that signature.
If I add the signature as an image (ie: jpg) no problem, but if I add it with the signature switch add-on,(as an html file) it's blocked.
My other signatures also have images in the html version, and don't get blocked, so it can't be that. Will try uninstalling and re-installing the sig switch add-on, maybe that will resolve it. I have un- and re-installed Signature Switch and simply remade that one problem signature.
It seems to be OK now
