I was just notified that my email address has been compromised via Experian's IDnotify. It was suggested that I change my email address password. My email server is mail.comcast.net. Can someone advise me how to go about changing the password.
TIA,
Mary

Re: email address password question
That's a two step process. First you must change the password on the Comcast web site, accessed through your browser. Once that has been changed you must remove the old password value from Thunderbird and then provide the new password when Thunderbird next connects to the Comcast server:
Go to TOOLS > OPTIONS >SECURITY > PASSWORDS tab> SAVED PASSWORDS button and there you can delete old passwords. Restart Thunderbird to ensure that the stored password is cleared from memory. The next time you "Get Mail" Thunderbird will ask for the password and you can check the box to remember the value.
