I've noticed lately that some incoming messages - primarily humor containing text and images cannot be forwarded or replied to. The body of the forwarded message only contains > for each line. Wondering why this is occurring - is it the type of message the sender is using or are other causes involved? Is there a way to work around this problem?

Re: Unable to forward some inbox messages
If you forwarded inline try forwarding as an attachment.
One possibility is that your account is configured to compose plain text messages so when you forward a HTML message it gets converted to plain text (which would make it lose any HTML and images). Try holding down the Shift key when you tell it to forward the message. That will temporarily toggle the settings from plain text to HTML. Ditto when replying.
However, I wouldn't expect this to cause a problem replying (at worse it would effect the contents of the reply).
