Magnifier shortcut broken while Tbird is the active tab

Last update broke Theme and font changer as usual. Alt +
scroll is how I activate the magnifier. Tbird is unusable again as, it blocks magnifier controls. PLEASE make font changing, not dependent on an ap!!!! I use a large screen TV. Tbird is unreadable except for the actual message Ctrl + + works there. Menu and everything are unusable without standing 2' from TV. This happens every update!
The only work around I found is to change desktop fonts. This makes buttons on windows unusable. Time for a new client I think. This happens way too much and, takes way to long to fix. Sad I like your client best, when I can change fonts. When I can't, it is useless. Every visually impaired person suffers when this happens, along with large screen users. It is very aggravating!!!

Microsoft Mail is probably your best bet, goodluck as i never used it

You could perhaps use macro express or some keyboard remapping program/technique to map a different keyboard combination to for use with the screen magnifier program.
