Not able to send emails

Have just re-installed TB 68 and am getting this message when I try to send an email to a single recipeints:

An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Too many messages (2.3.5.1) from 83.55.90.101. Please check the message and try again.

Any help in sorting this out would be welcomed!

Is that single recipient a mailing list or just one single email address?

I've seen some very long threads in the BT community forums about a similar problem that appears to be due to the server getting overloaded.

Who is your email provider?

The IP address appears to be for TELEFONICA DE ESPANA in Spain. Does that make any sense?

It is a single email address.

That error message is too non-standard to figure out any more about it. Try using a different accounts smtp server.
