Cannot login to my gmail accounts using Tbird 68.7

I cannot login to my gmail accounts using Tbird 68.7
This sometimes happens and is solved by a Chrome login.
But not this time.

I changed my Gmail password and still I cannot login to Gmail via Tbird.

Go to TOOLS > OPTIONS >SECURITY > PASSWORDS tab> SAVED PASSWORDS button and there you can delete old passwords. Restart Thunderbird to ensure that the stored password is cleared from memory. The next time you "Get Mail" Thunderbird will ask for the password and you can check the box to remember the value.

I'll recommend you switch to OAuth2 for the Authentication method. Probably IMAP for the account.

Thanks for posting that link! Even though I'm using POP access for a couple of my Gmail accounts, switching to OAuth2 resolved the problem for me.
