Message line spacing
I'm using TB 68.9.0 on Windows PC. How can I control the paragraph spacing in messages I write? I can't find a setting anywhere. I would like to space paragraphs 1 1/2 lines or double space.

Thunderbird doesn't offer a fully functional word processor when composing, just a basic HTML editor with some formatting options. Thinks like setting paragraph spacing to 1-1/2 lines is among the things not included in that basic functionality.
If you use menu path Tools->Options->Composition->General you will find a option "Use Paragraph format instead of Body Text by default". Clicking on the box for that will cause Thunderbird to put two line feed in each time the Return key is pressed. If you just keep typing in a message the text will line wrap at a present width but when you press Enter it will add a blank line between paragraphs.

You can accomplish what you want by using customized html stationery/signature code in thunderbird. Here is a template you can play with. Install it by following the instructions for using an html signature html in Thunderbird. Or you can copy the code and paste it into the thunderbird section for html coded signature. You will note the style lines that provide "line-height: 1.5 !important;" that is the css code that provides for 1.5 line spacing. You can edit the template code to your liking.
