Cannot send emails. [Mac.]

I cannot send emails, although they appear in Sent folder. No replies about failed emails are received back.
Thunderbird version 68.11.0. Using Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6.
Help please.

What error message do you get?

If you have more than one account, does it occur with every account?

Do you have the same problem if you send a message using webmail (browser based) to the same recipients? If nothing else doing that would give you an opportunity to discover and clear a captcha (which Thundebrird doesn't know how to deal with).

Try sending while in safe mode (help -> restart with add-ons disabled) to eliminate any possibility the problem is due to a misbehaving add-on.
