Quite often (not all the time), the "throbber" (blue indicator in status bar that shows activity), runs ALL the time, and not sure why?
Only have Provider for Google Calendar, and XNote++ Extensions enabled.
REALLY annoying when it happens.
If I close Thunderbird, and re-open, generally it doesn't restart for a while.

Does Tools > Activity Manager indicate any activity?
