How to export all emails from email account?

Post by garfy »

I want to export only FROM EMAILS for each account.....is that possible?

Or just export all emails into one file that I can open in notepad and extract all emails with script.....there should be an option to do that.

Please explain what you want to do in more detail. When you speak of exporting "only FROM EMAILS" do you mean messages that you have sent to others?

If that's the case, install the extension ImportExportTools NG. Then select the Sent folder in Thunderbird and use menu path Tools->ImportExport Tools NG->Export all messages in the folder->and select which file format you want to output.

In that case the same process would apply but instead of selecting the Sent folder, select the Inbox folder after installing the extension.
