Re: How to migrate from tbPortable to TB not portable then c
Just out of curiosity, why not migrate the TB-Portable to the new system without the stop on the old computer?

Re: How to migrate from tbPortable to TB not portable then c
Thanks Dan;
Just to be clear ,
I should install TB nonPortable on new computer
then do as in "Quick and Dirty without using Mozbackup" .
Is that correct ?
Also , On my tb-portable computer things look like:
Here: C:\Users\vmars\AppData\Local\Thunderbird\Profiles\fopzvnoa.default
there are no files .
Here: C:\Users\vmars\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\fopzvnoa.default
there is one times.json file
Ie., I can't find any default profiles . Help...
Thanks

Sorry, I thought you were more familiar with Portable Thunderbird. The Portable version does not use the default profile location that the installed version does. Instead, messages and user customization is stored in a \Profile directory under the \Data directory. Something like F:\PortableApps\ThunderbirdPortable\Data\Profile\

Re: How to migrate from tbPortable to TB not portable then c
Hello;
I found a Profile that looks promising (see image);
1) which files should I copy to the new computer so that I don't have to enter all email accounts info ?
2) And can copy all my emails over ?
3) Just to be clear : I want to first install the full TB (not the Portable version) ?
4) Is full TB going to accept all data from TB-Portable ?
Please answer all the above quesions .
Thanks

Copy everything in that directory. That's the profile.
