Only one "cc"?

Thunderbird 78.6.1, Windows 10
First I fill in To, then click "CC and fill it in, BUT when I go for a second "CC", I get a "BCC." So, how does one do multiple "CC's"? In other words, my version of TB only allows me (as far as I can see) to do just one CC. I must be missing something. Thanks.
