Hello!

Yesterday something went wrong with local mail folders.
I tried to download the new mails, but many of the folders vanished.

Later I restarted the TDB, I repaired all folders, and I made compact on them. Everything seemed to be ok, except one thing.

After this repair operation I have a folder which has same icon as INBOX.

And it moved to the top like INBOX does.

So the prev. order was in AnySubFolder:

- _SUPPORT
- Duna
- JDF
- Kart
- ZZZ

Now the order is:
- Duna (with INBOX like icon)
- _SUPPORT
- JDF
- ZZZ

for test I created folder named "Alma", but this is also moved under the Duna. So Duna is fixed on the top.

- Duna (with INBOX like icon)
- Alma
- _SUPPORT
- JDF
- ZZZ

How can I repair this folder, for Duna become to normal folder? Which file I need to modify in my local folders?

Thank you for your help!

Best regards

dd

How is the account set up, as POP or IMAP?
In Thunderbird the menu path is Tools->Account Settings->Server Settings->Server Type at the top right of the dialogue.

Does the problem still exist if you use view -> folders -> all and help -> restart with add-ons disabled?

Once things are healthy (folder order shouldn't change on its own) you can use the Manually Sort Folders add-on to tweak the order of folders in an account.

Hello!

That was IMAP! Before I saw your answer I tried to rename folder in website.
Then the TDB found the new folder which recreated as normal folder.

So sorry for your "wasted time", and very-very thank you for your all answer.

This was the simplest solution now, if I will get this problem again, I will try your way.

(Otherwise I have only one extension, CardBook)

Thank you!

Best wishes
