hi there

I am using latest version of TB and win 10 pro

May I kindly ask how to create more CC fields please?

I am only able to create one CC and then it does a BCC, and also only one time

I often need to send a copy of a message to 3 or 4 people.
How do I do that in the new version please, I do not want to start an additional group.

kindest thanks
best regards
peter

Hi Peter,
Allow me to take a stab at this one.
See if this article helps out...

May I ask why you don't use a Mailing List?
Makes things so much easier.

Referring to "latest version" is not actually a clear statement as there are multiple "latest" versions, depending on whether the user is on the release channel, nightly, ESR, etc or using a Linux sourced version. Better to provide the actual numeric identify of the version of Thunderbird you are using.

g'day Mr.L

thanks , the link answered what to do

I have mailing lists for certain groups of recipients, but sometimes, I send a message that is not for all in a mailing list.
I have to many lists already, I dont fancy creating more lists and giving them a memorable name <smiles>

all the best
peter

You're welcome Peter.

Image

Just a FWIW...& not to offend, but
As Dan mentioned, it's best to post the details of the version you're running & any extensions you have as well.
Saves a lot of time etc., etc.

(We sort of know that you only run the Release version but the relevant details do help.)
Thanks Peter.

Stay safe.

Then you may find this addon useful:
https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-GB/th ... ing-lists/

You can expand the list, then remove the ones you don't want to send to.

thank you Dave

wish the add on Header tools lite would work in Ver 78, and or an alternate add on became available
I have a work around by using "Edit as new message" but that is unfriendly way to change subject line

thanks again
peter

What does CC and BCC have to do with changing the subject line? That can be changed in forwards or replies right now.
